It was a good hearing, everyone did a great Job, there were 5 that testified against the lifting of the Ban and 5 for lifting the ban, after the meeting we were confronted by a House Rep that came at us about threats to one of the Senators, obviously not threats but Challenges of free will, we cannot dictate free will or legislate it either for that matter.

Also some of the others were a bit hot but as we talked it became obvious to everyone how all of this could have been averted through communication venues that are already in place, I feel these inroads to the stakeholders were purposefully routed so we would have this type of confrontation, my guess is these legislators as well thought this was going to be a non-issue at the onset never knowing the volatile history.

Now there is pending legal action, ill feelings and discontent, I warned my Senator and others about the potential firestorm, nothing good comes from this, nothing good would come from Muskie groups doing the same type of $#!+ to them, I hope the Cass Lake ban will stay in place, this is a one of a kind fishery in MN, Huge Pike Walleye and Muskie not to mention fantastic Perch fishing, ZERO fish stocked; the lake sustains itself its a true gem.

To those that have not contacted the reps and Senators please do, and as always treat them with respect, as soon as you become confrontational or give ultimatums they stop listening.

As Frank Schneider Jr would say "Stay positive and never stop"
