LCX27 network to HDS8

If I have a LCX27 on the bow w/ trans. and a HDS8 at the dash w/ trans and lss, and have the 27 networked into the LSS, can the HDS8 be viewed using the bow trans.? I know it would only be normal sonar.

Yes, by selecting the LCX as the sonar source on the HDS.

Thanks, thats why you are the Doc. One more question. Would you put a HDS7 on the bow and a HDS7 on the dash w/ the 27 or HDS8 on the dash with lxc15 with 27 on bow. As you know Doc, cost ves. usage. 50% up front and 50% trolling

I would pick the 2 HDS units. Since you will be thinking about adding the StructureScan someday and then you can see the StructureScan on both HDS. I have my LSS-1 transducer on the transom and I like to see the DownScan on splitscreen on the bow with the traditional sonar.
