I am looking to buy a new jigging rod at the spring sale and am wondering if Johnny Morris is really $30 smother then Pro Qualifier and if HM85 is $30 more sensitive then IM8.  I'm also going ice fishing for walleye this weekend if you know any hot baits.  It's an oligotrofic lake what structure should I look for.

Hey Joe I have the HM-85 and love it and highly recommend it and yes to me well worth the money. I recently was at Bass Pro and the Pro Qualifier reels are great I really do wish I had bought one years ago but didn't. They are on sale now both the HM=85 and the Pro-Qualifier so you can save like $50 off the combo till March 14th but you have to go to a BPS store. Hope this helps ya.

I'm going to the bass pro in Toronto and the JM PQ and HM 85 are all on sale so the combo price doesn't matter.

That is not what I meant, they don't actually have a "combo" I was just using it as a shortcut of combination of the two HM-85 and the Pro Qualifier Reel yes they are a great COMBO  and this is a Great sale. You will enjoy them. Oh and this is the "combo" that Chase, Keith and Gary Use.

The HM 85 is a much better choice, and I've used both the PQ and JM reels.  Love them both, JM is a bit higher quality, but have never had an issue with either.  Really your choice for the money.
